SMC Grants 3rd Qtr 2019
The first round of grants have been awarded to organizations in our community.
We are excited to share with you that Southwest Members Care has donated $16,991.70 to these very worthy causes.
Gilt Edge Volunteer Fire Department
The Gilt Edge Volunteer Fire Department was awarded a grant of $5,991.70.
With these funds they have purchased 2 potentially life saving AEDs.
Tipton Titans Youth Football
The Gilt Edge Volunteer Fire Department was awarded a grant of $5,991.70.
With these funds they have purchased 2 potentially life saving AEDs.
West Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts
The West Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts received a $3,500 grant. These funds will be used for their Fall Recruitment Campaign, program materials, training and a scholarship fund that will fund things like registration, books, uniforms and camperships for local students.
Gleaner's House
The Gleaner's House in Henderson received a $5,000 grant to restock their food pantry.
